The Clay Connection is an "orphan" organization and does not maintain a dedicated facility for its operations. Programs and events sponsored by The Clay Connection are held at a variety of locations depending on the nature of event.

From the Washington Capitol Beltway (495)

  1. Head toward Richmond
  2. Merge onto I395N toward Washington
  3. Exit on Edsall Road East (first exit)
  4. Turn right (almost a right-hand U-turn) before the traffic light into the Industrial Park and onto Bren Mar Dr. (it curves a bit)
  5. Turn right onto General Washington Drive
  6. Turn right into Bren Mar Center (after the Marlo Furniture Store and the first brick building)
  7. There will be three buildings on your right; turn to the right between the 2nd and 3rd buildings
  8. Creative Clay Pottery & Studios will be in the 3rd, 4th, 5th bays on the right hand side

From Washington DC

  1. Take 395S toward Richmond
  2. Exit on Edsall Road East

  1. Drive west on Rt. 66.
  2. Take Exit 69 to Sycamore Street.
  3. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Sycamore Street.
  4. At the second stoplight, turn right onto Lee Highway.
  5. Drive approximately one-half mile.
  6. Turn right onto Lexington Street
  7. The free parking lot will be on the immediate left behind the building.
  8. Street parking is also available; please be careful to not block resident driveways.

From the Washington Capitol Beltway (495)

  1. Exit onto Rt. 66 East, heading towards Washington, DC.
  2. Take Exit 69 to Lee Highway.
  3. At the top of the ramp, turn left onto Lee Highway.
  4. Drive approximately one-half mile.
  5. Turn right onto Lexington Street
  6. The free parking lot will be on the immediate left behind the building.

  2. The road veers right in Old Town and becomes one way
  3. Turn left on West Street (about 4 blocks into Old Town)

From Rt. 95

  1. Take Prince William Parkway (3000) for about 10 miles
  2. Turn right on Fairview Avenue
  3. Turn left on Church Street (after about 7 blocks)
  4. Turn left on West Street (after about 5 blocks)
  5. Turn left on Center Street
  6. Manassas Clay will be the second shop on the left

From the Capitol Beltway (I-495)

  1. Exit onto 236 East (Little River Turnpike)
  2. Turn left at the first light (Hummer Road)
  3. Go .2 mile (you will pass one small residential street named Championship Drive) and turn left into the first driveway for "Annandale Community Park" (marked with wooden sign "Craft Gallery").
  4. Bear right and follow the drive-way to the parking lot
  5. The Packard Center will be the large brick building to the left of the parking lot.

Coming from Gallows Rd/Annandale Rd intersection

  1. turn onto Hummer Road; follow it around many curves. Pass the first sign for the Park (first driveway) and turn right at the second driveway for "Annandale Community Park" (marked with wooden sign "Craft Gallery").
  2. Continue with directions 4 and 5 above to the Packard Center.

  1. Drive south on I-395 (Shirley Highway)
  2. Take left-hand Exit 8C to US-1 South (toward Pentagon City/Crystal City/Alexandria)
  3. Drive over the railroad tracks
  4. Turn right onto Cameron street (about 10 blocks after the RR tracks)
  5. The Durant Center is 5 blocks down on the right

From the Washington Capital Beltway (I-95)

  1. Take Exit 177 to US-1 North
  2. Turn left onto Cameron Street
  3. The Durant Center is 6 blocks down on the right

From the Metro

  1. Take the blue or yellow line toward the Springfield or Huntington Station
  2. Exit at the King Street Metro Station
  3. Walk eastward on King Street
  4. Walk north on Harvard Street
  5. Walk east on Cameron Street
  6. The Durant Center is 1 block down on the left

  1. Exit onto I-66W
  2. Exit at Nutley Street (VA 243N) and bear right toward Vienna
  3. Turn right at the 4th traffic light onto Maple Avenue (VA 123)
  4. Turn right at the 4th traffic light onto Park Street (Whole Foods Market and the Michel Rene Building will be on the right)
  5. Turn right into the parking lot after the flashing neon-yellow bike sign
  6. The Vienna Community Center is the brick building with parking lot in front of you.

  1. From airport, follow signs to Dulles Airport Access Road

  3. Merge onto 66W toward Front Royal
  4. Exit on Linden (Exit 13)
  5. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Apple Mountain Road (VA-79)

From Roanoke, VA and areas south of Front Royal

  1. Take I-81 North to I-66 East.
  2. Take Exit 6 "Winchester/Front Royal" 522/340 South.
  3. Go right, toward Front Royal. You will cross two bridges (the North Fork and the South Fork).
  4. Follow signs for 522/340 South - it zigzags a bit through town: turn LEFT onto 14th Street; turn RIGHT onto North Royal; then another LEFT at a light to stay on 522 (going straight here would put you on 340 which is South Royal). You will pass a Wendy's Restaurant. The road name is Commerce Ave.
  5. Stay on 522 South towards Flinthill, cross Rt 55 about 1.5 miles and turn right on Rt 604 Harmony Hollow Rd to 4-H Center
