The Clay Connection Board sponsors an annual potluck dinner in December. This years party is a joint party with the Lee Arts Center. Members are invited to bring spouses or significant others along with a dish filled with food to share and a piece of pottery to contribute to the ever-popular pot exchange!! The Board provides all beverages and paper products. The evening is capped off with a pot exchange for members willing to part with their hand-made items. The Annual Pot Luck Dinner was rescheduled (due to snow) from December of ’09 to April 17, 2010

Steve Wright and Jennie Avila from Wright Hand Drums perform after dinner. Steven made all the clay drums that they used. He talked for awhile about the method he uses to make them. They are thrown in 3 pieces, trimmed very thin, joined, decorated, then fired to cone 02 - "overfired" for that clay, but it gives the clay much more of a "ring" to the sound when it is struck.
Jennie write most of the songs they sung.
