The Spring Show will be held again at the John Calvin Presbyterian Church which is a bright and cheery environment for a Pottery Show and Sale. This is a good time for Shoppers to buy Spring Pottery and Mother's Day Gifts. This is a sale of Quality Pottery and there will be no clearance items or seconds. Also, non-members are welcome to participate.
The success of The Clay Connection Show depends upon every participant marketing the sale to friends, family and other contacts. Also, check your email contacts and mailing list of past customers as we are in the process of printing postcards that you will be able to send to your clients to extend a personal invitation the event.
All participants will have their own space to set up as they prefer and you may bring tablecloths and display materials to individualize your table. Muslin skirts will be provided to promote a consistent visual image and hide the packing materials and boxes used to transport your merchandise.
The table arrangement will be the same as last year with rectangular and circular tables. The set up encourages the shoppers to meander from table to table and as the Vendor, you will be able to spend time with your customers and make cash and check sales directly. In your Participants package, you will receive information for collecting the State 5% Tax and a copy of the State Tax Filing Form.
We have changed The Clay Connection check out table to serve only credit card sales and you will be charged the customary 5% Commission to help cover the cost of credit card capability and fees
